The Lotus 49 was groundbreaking as one of the first F1 cars to use a stressed member engine combined with a monocoque chassis to reduce weight, a concept soon adopted by other teams following its success. Jim Clark secured a victory on the car's debut in 1967 and achieved his final career win with it in 1968. This iconic masterpiece is a tribute to both Jim Clark and the Lotus 49.
